Jeremy D. Swanson, Esq.

Jeremy D. Swanson is the firm’s lead family law attorney. Since graduating cum laude from Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy in 2002, Jeremy has practiced family, civil, and probate law. His practice is now focused on all aspects of family law as well as related property law issues, such as partition and quiet title matters.

As the Kern County Bar Association Family Law Section’s President for 2018, Jeremy enjoys bringing professional development opportunities to Kern County from the top educators and family law practitioners in the state.

An outdoor enthusiast, he prefers to spend his downtime in the mountains or at the coast. As a believer in the quality of community, he stays active in the local music scene. An active member and Past President of the Bakersfield Twilight Rotary Club, he is involved in charitable local and international projects, including fundraising for the projects of the Twilight Charitable Foundation.

Seth N. O’Dell, Esq.

Having graduated from Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy in 2001, Seth O’Dell began his career as a Deputy District Attorney. He worked over four years in the Kern County District Attorney’s office. He is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California, a Past President of the Kern County Bar Association, and current Board Member of the Kern County Bar Association’s Charitable Foundation.

His experience includes trying over 70 jury trials to verdict. It also includes extensive civil litigation experience, with a focus on Personal Injury matters.
